Want to write for BioZoom?

BioZoom invites articles from Danish or Danish-based researchers to share on our website. Articles are focused on research, research related activities, and research politics that are anchored in or related to Denmark. Particularly, we invite pieces from junior researchers who are interested in working in a popularized science format in English or Danish.

Examples of articles could be:

  • A meeting report from a scientific conference, seminar, or research stay abroad. The article specifies the main topic of the meeting, touches the main presentations and take-home messages. The article may also include personal reflections or interests on topics specifically of interest to the author as well as experiences from the meeting. For resarch stays, the article outlines the research context, format, experiences, and take-home learnings. For examples, see here or here.
  • A scientific story or perspective on a particular subject. This may be a summarizing paper on a particular research field or a research question of general interest. The article is not peer-reviewed and will therefore be considered a personal reflection on the topic. Therefore, the format may also contain personal experiences from working with the topic or the research field. For examples, see here or here.
  • An interview with a profile of interest. An interview may either be with an influential character in research, funding, or research politics. The interview could concern experiences, reflections, or future research or funding directions. For examples, see here or here.
