The Danish Society for Matrix Biology is a meeting point for matrix scientists in Denmark and the wider Nordic region. We aim to advance the science of connective tissue, extracellular matrix biology and related subjects by fostering collaboration, scientific exchange, and networking across geographical and disciplinary boundaries.

The DSMB organizes seminars, lectures, discussion groups, conferences, symposia, and other networking events for scientists at all career stages. Our annual meeting provides a platform for our members to present their work, with dedicated opportunities for early career researchers, including awards for outstanding presentations. We also support the participation and career development of young investigators, including sponsoring the DSMB nominee for the Dick HeinegÄrd European Young Investigator Award at the Matrix Biology Europe meeting.

Through DSMB membership, scientists gain access to growing ECM-focused network, opportunities to exchange ideas with researchers across Denmark and internationally, and updates on relevant conferences, funding opportunities, and events through our newsletter. Members can also apply for travel grants and meeting support through and from the Danish Biochemical Society and FEBS, including for attendance of FEBS Advance Lecture Courses.

The price for membership is 300 DKK per year. Membership of Danish Society for Matrix Biology is obtained together with Danish Biochemical Society membership. The membership fee thus covers membership of both the Danish Society for Matrix Biology and the Danish Biochemical Society.

Remember to indicate that you wish to be affiliated with 'Danish Society for Matrix Biology' during the sign up process.
