DSMB Special Seminar with Dr Joan Chang

Join us for a special seminar by Senior Lecturer Dr Joan Chang from Manchester Cell-Matrix Centre, University of Manchester, UK.

In this seminar, “Circadian rhythms, extracellular matrix, and how this impacts repair response?” Dr. Chang will discuss discuss how circadian rhythms regulate collagen-I production, deposition and remodelling, and how these processes influence tissue repair and disease. Drawing on her latest work, she will explore the dynamic nature of the extracellular matrix, including the role of endocytic recycling in collagen fibrillogenesis and how interactions between immune cells and fibroblasts can modulate circadian collagen deposition.
