European Elastin Meeting 2026

EEM 2026 will unite leading experts in (bio)chemistry, medicine, physics, material sciences, and computational sciences from academia, industry, and clinical practice to explore a wide range of topics around elastin and related ECM proteins, their role in health and disease, and potential in regenerative medicine.

The program, designed by both local and international scientific committees, will span key areas such as diagnosis, damage repair and treatment of elastin-related conditions by focusing on elastin and elastic fiber biosynthesis (elastogenesis), degradation, disease, turnover, regulation, and interaction with other ECM proteins, as well as tissue regeneration.

EEM 2026 aims to serve as a dynamic forum for discussions and networking among senior researchers, early-career scientists, students, and companies.
