Location Turku, Finland

The Nordic proteomic societies from Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden welcome you to their three day scientific meeting, NPC 2014, to be held from March 11-13, 2014 in Turku, Finland.

The theme of the meeting is Quantitative Proteomics where the aim is to highlight the high-impact methods, our best success cases and emerging technologies in the field. There is an outstanding selection of keynote speakers from around the world and we have more than 30 places for additional talks, numerous placements for posters, and a session on poster highlights. Three free pre-conference courses are scheduled for Monday, March 10, immediately prior to the scientific meeting.

Ample time for networking and Nordic adventures, including, skiing, skating, ice fishing and of course the Finnish Sauna is reserved. We hope that you will join us for what we expect to be an outstanding scientific and cultural event.

"I don't know a lot about mass spectrometry and proteomics, so should I come?"

Yes. Over the last decade proteomics has emerged with the goals to develop and apply methods for the global analysis of proteins, as they are indispensable for all biological processes and functions. In particular quantitation has emerged as a key tool in the analysis of proteomes, which is relevant to all fields of/in life sciences and biology.
Come and learn about new, existing methods and technologies available for sample preparation, analyses and bioinformatics. The meeting is an open to all international guests and gives a good opportunity to find new collaborators.

Final registration date February 14, 2014
